About D8 Property Group

Experienced delivery across multiple UK regions, supporting housing, retrofit and property-compliance programmes across England.

Who we are

A property and energy assessment business

D8 Property Services Ltd, trading as D8 Property Group, provides Energy Performance Certificates, stock condition surveys, property inspections and related compliance support. We work directly with homeowners, landlords and agents, and we support larger programmes for housing providers, councils and principal contractors.

Building on established delivery experience with principal contractors serving councils and housing providers, D8 has supported programmes across London, the South East, the Midlands and the North East. Work is coordinated centrally and allocated locally by geography.

We describe our services precisely. Where a piece of work requires a competence or accreditation we do not hold, we say so and arrange an appropriately qualified provider — see D8 Energy Solutions for how each service is labelled.

Our founder

Built from front-line property delivery

D8 Property Group was founded by Jordan Taylor, whose property career began in estate agency. Over approximately 12 years, Jordan progressed from trainee level into management before moving further into property assessment, energy performance and compliance services.

That combination of agency and front-line assessment experience shapes how D8 operates today. The business understands that a survey is rarely an isolated appointment: it may affect a sale, letting, compliance deadline, funding programme or resident journey. Clear communication, dependable attendance and accurate reporting are therefore treated as essential parts of every instruction.

In practice that means honest scope, competent assessors and respectful contact with residents. Where a programme needs a competence D8 does not hold, we say so and arrange a suitably qualified provider instead of stretching a scope to fit.

D8 continues to grow its assessor network region by region, coordinating work centrally while keeping delivery local. If you assess property for a living, join the assessor network.

What that means in practice

  • Scope and price confirmed in writing before any visit
  • Assessors checked for qualification, insurance and identity
  • Resident-facing conduct treated as part of the job, not an extra
  • Appointment timescales treated as part of someone else's deadline
  • No claims about accreditations or clients we cannot evidence

Eco Ladder CIC

Eco Ladder CIC is a developing social-impact initiative connected to D8, focused on creating accessible pathways into property, energy-efficiency and housing-compliance careers. It is initially focused on Croydon and South London, and delivery remains subject to funding, partnerships and programme arrangements.

About Eco Ladder CIC
How we work

Principles we hold to

Say only what we can evidence

We do not publish statistics, client names, accreditations or partnerships we cannot support with evidence and permission.

Confirm scope in writing

Every instruction has a written scope and quotation. Enquiries do not create a contract.

Check the people doing the work

Qualification, accreditation, insurance and identity are checked before allocation, and work is quality checked before release.
